You can easily attach the phone to the mount. It holds it quite firmly. There are no problems during normal riding. One tip: spraying some WD-40 on the inside will make it more flexible. If you don't have WD-40, you can apply a little Vaseline to the moving parts to reduce stress.
It is a cost-effective product.
